A bit about Colleen...

 Colleen is the lead agent of the Snyder Homes Team at "the Empire," and is passionate about her role in helping others achieve their real estate goals.  

Having lived in Europe, on the West Coast, in New England and now back to the Rochester area, Colleen is confident that the Rochester and Finger Lakes areas are wonderful places to live! Colleen brings, not only her expertise and love of all things Real Estate (at the heart of it all are relationships and people), but also her experience in other professional areas.  

After receiving a BA at the University of San Diego, Colleen worked for two years as an Archeologist in San Diego County, and in places as incredible and ancient as Jordan, and Turkey, as well. Following those adventures, Colleen decided to go back to school and attained a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Boston. She then went on to teach at both public and private schools, only to become enamored with the processes involved in Real Estate right after buying her first house. 

...and here we are now.... after teaching, Real Estate management, and other entrepreneurial work in MA, Colleen moved with my husband and two children back to her roots in Upstate NY during the very snowy winter of 2015. As a family, they've made their 4th home purchase, and true to each, they turned one of the most dated houses on the block into a beautiful home all their own. 

Some of Colleen's greatest joys in this business are to help others see the potential, sense of freedom, and pride that comes with home ownership and building one's own equity, whether it is a first, middle, or vacation home purchase.  

No matter what your budget or goals, Colleen is sure to give you advice fitting to your own must-haves, dreams, and the market, and she will consistently watch out for your best interests every step of the way.  

Colleen managed investment portfolios in MA and then became licensed in NY (each state is specific) in 2015. She earned her Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) credentials, and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS) certification, and then earned her Broker's license just a short while later.  She also holds certifications in Negotiations and Senior moves.

Colleen has helped many Sellers and Buyers throughout Monroe County as well as in Livingston, Ontario, and Wayne Counties, too. In NY, over the years, she has sold about 65,000,000 worth of properties to date (~150+ homes) both through the MLS and private sales!  She also manages a small number of rental properties, should this be a future need for one of her clients.

Colleen is a dedicated professional who has extensive experience and understanding of all types of homes, investments, and land sales, so you can rest-assured that with Colleen you are in great hands! 

Additionally, in 2020, Colleen began building her own small team, to give her clients superior service even when she may be away, and because she still loves teaching. Colleen will gladly take on the role of mentoring newer licensed agents if they too have a desire to work with the highest level of ethics, become the best version of themselves and excel at this craft.
